WebDollarsForum.com Interview with Aniefiok Ukang – How I make Money from Google AdSense Millionaire Secret Online

Aniefiok Ukang runs a free online forum site called www.billgatesguide.blogspot.com and he rocked the Internet world this week when he posted a photo of his latest Google AdSense check for nearly $148 daily with a small blog. And the recently check was $7700 in two months
It was a check for 2 months because the first check they sent was so big it was rejected by his bank. The bank rejected the check and was asked to report to EFCC (I hate it when that happens.)
The team of  Webdollarsforum.com  and the Admin, asked Aniefiok Ukang to share a few thoughts with us, and he was kind enough to oblige with a complete step by steps on how he is successful online with Google Adsense program.
You're a one-man show running a very successful blogs for 7 years now. Tell us how you got started.
It all started in 2001, as a students of Applied Economics, our lecturer keep advising us to go and learn Computer Operation or repairing. The motivation gotten from my lecturer prompted me and so many of us to go computer training.  I attended pacific Computer --- then Distance Owolowo University, Then One of the course handling us was on introduction to internet. The lecturer keep telling us that if we know how he Is making money online that we will not even waste our time say we want to study Computer Repairs and Maintenance, then he gave us assignment and asked us to submit online using email. Opening email then cost me N500 while checking my email box for 10 minutes was N200.
I bought so many ebook then online which cost me $100 and above within the first 1 month and before you know it I have spend over $470 within 6 months. I came up with my first forum www.dollarsforum.com which I sold in 2006 for $5000.  I went back to my desk and checked out google.com and discover making money with Google Adsense starting with blog. I checked so many blogs to compare what they offer before finally launching www.billgatesguide.blogspot.com  and presently http://www.googlemillionaires.blogspot.com/ because most blog was a paid to read and I wanted to own a free blog where people can come to read and comments for free.
I was really annoyed when I found out you had to pay for everything, I ended up telling a friend who introduced me to the some of the paid sites that I could do better and make them for free, so I went and registered www.billgatesguide.blogspot.com and today is one of the top popular blog online.    All I ever ended up doing was creating an index page and forgot about it.
It amazes me to think that my 1 person company is able to compete at a level where all the competitors have 1000+ servers, and 300+ full time staff.  I feel like I am ahead of my time, and when I look around at the companies out there today I have a hard time seeing them existing in a few years.  I believe that in a few years 2 or 3 person companies will replace companies that have 40 or 50 employees.
I sometimes wonder if I’m crazy for not going paid, and passing up 100's of millions a year in revenue.  But I created this site to change the world, and make money at the same time.   I may not make $1 million a month like the other sites my size but Google pays me good money. My effective CPM (under $2.00) may be very low, but when you have a site this huge it really ads up.
Webdollarsforum.com Asked: Your site, if you'll forgive me, isn't terribly attractive, it isn't "web 2.0" it isn't even a terribly original idea. Many entrepreneurs today think that without those ingredients in the recipe, they'll never make it. You've clearly proved otherwise. What's your secret and what are your thoughts about what it takes to be successful?
Answer by Aniefiok Ukang: Too many people assume an "original idea" is just something that looks visually different than others. I created the first real free blogs with others 40 blogs and the first one that actually worked. Just like Google created the first real search engine that worked. There is no such thing as a secret
As I came home from school I sat down and I forced myself to research for hours and months. The enemy was thinking, whenever I paused or started to think I would force myself to start thinking, it’s amazing how much you can get done when you just start thinking and writing it down.
There are only 7000 or so sites in the world with massive traffic, and of those site only few once that is run by a single person.   It's not possible for thousands of people to be as successful as me. For being successful in building sites you need to give something to the surfer faster or better and even both, you’re with me. If you want to do pay per click, you just need to be good at picking words to bid on it and being careful before you lost your money with out achieving the aims.
For that business it’s just a matter of repetition and fighting boredom. At the end of the day you just need to sit down and DO it.  Most people don't and that’s why they fail woefully online and starts blaming the person that sold ebook to them or start blaming why they order the ebook or why they asked the person to even help them invest online. Some even go as contacting a lawyer before you know it the lawyer, Will Study the case and knowing very well that online business is a spirit business as people refer to because is not physically handle and exchange.
Don’t go into the case; stop wasting money on the case because you will not win on the case. Since you asked the person in question to help you and the person did and return the info and the details back without holding anything back and you confirm that he did just as you want. Did you sign any partnership form with Him, No, did you asked him that if the money is lost he will pay you, No. Did you ask to share the profits and lost with him, No.  did you asked him that you don’t agreed with the terms of the investment as it’s appear on the website No, The case is cancel. Wow…….well, these experiences is what we have gotten online everyday.
Webdollarsforum.com Asked: You've obviously done a brilliant job marketing the site because you have some insane traffic numbers. What do you feel has been your most successful marketing move and why?
It was all viral. My best move was not going out and spending a ton of money, with online forum you need to spend $0.50 for every free member, and most of those leave on the first day and the few that do become active don't stay more than 3 months. So 30% of your membership is turned over per month. There is no way you can make your money back. The site went ballistic in Nigeria all on its own I really didn't have to do anything, but keep advertising it on Success Digest Magazine.
Webdollarsforum.com Asked: What has been your least successful marketing effort? Why wasn't it successful?
Radio and TV are too expensive, too hard to buy your way into markets. Yahoo, Warroiroforum.com, digitalpoint.com, Nairaland.com and sitepoint.com, Lavalife.com are each spending $10 million a month on marketing. How can you even come close to competing with them?
Webdollarsforum.com Asked: Can you share some of your favorite sources of inspiration and ideas? (E.g. certain blogs/books/magazines)
Well, I read so many ebook that keep me going and being successful such as How to Think Like a Millionaire, Think and grow Rich, The Diamond in You, How to make millionaire with your idea, As a thinken in his heart, Though I Never bothered reading blogs just started reading blogs lately online sauch as strictyonlinebiz.com, www.strictlyfreebies.com, www.googlemillionaires.blogspot.com, www.globalonlineriches.blogspot.com  and forum like www.webdollarsforum.com etc…
Webdollarsforum.com Asked: Any parting advice for other entrepreneurs trying to gain success with AdSense or other "eyeball/traffic"-oriented ventures?
Google pays out $1 trillion a year to AdSense users.  That money is going somewhere, and if you look at the top 3000 sites not a hell of a lot of them have AdSense.  Statistically speaking those sites that have low numbers of users and high EPC [Earnings per Click] will make the most money. Build sites that no one else has done before, stuff only goes viral the first 1 or 2 times after that you have to buy your way into a market.
Webdollarsforum.com Asked: Thanks again to Markus for sharing his thoughts.

Being from Nigeria, Billgatesguide.com is somewhat of a legend when it comes to Adsense. It is amazing how something so simple can make so much money. Of course the Adsense vs. Passion argument comes up around blogging. Are you doing it because you're passionate about it, or because you want to get paid...and the answer to that question is...Yes!
